Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Zagora
Your journey begins early in the morning as you leave Marrakech behind and drive toward the High Atlas Mountains. The road winds through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, offering panoramic views of terraced valleys, rugged peaks, and traditional Berber villages. You continue to the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its earthen architecture and history as a caravan trading post. Walking through its narrow alleys and climbing to the upper granaries gives you incredible views of the surrounding plains.
