Itinerary: 4 days tour from Marrakech to Fes
Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Your journey begins with an early morning pickup from your riad or hotel in Marrakech. You travel south across the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, crossing the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m). Along the way, you stop to enjoy panoramic views, photograph mountain scenery, and observe daily life in traditional Berber villages.
You arrive at the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a masterpiece of Moroccan earthen architecture. After exploring its ancient alleys and hilltop viewpoints, you continue through Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert.”
In the afternoon, you follow the scenic Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing palm groves and fortified villages before reaching the beautiful Dades Valley, famous for its dramatic canyon landscapes.
